*I chose to use both of these because I believe that students should not only have a routine for what is going on throughout the day but also for what is happening during each session of the day. In my classroom I think it is important for students to know what is going on in several ways. Having a visual, having it written, and maybe going through it verbally everyday will help the students to know what is going on. After the first few weeks of school, they wont have to be reminded as much and they will be able to look at it and know what were doing next. \
*I have learned that it is important to have the time on these as well. Knowing what time were going to lunch is motivation to get things done on time, or what time math starts will help us to stay on task.
*I believe that Bandura's social learning theory can be applied to this because students behavior is learned from the environment they are in. If they are shown the tasks that need to be completed everyday, they will soon adapt to the environment and behave a certain way when it is time to change gears. For example, when it is 10:05 students will put their math stuff away and get lined up for P.E. because it is part of their routine and learned behavior.
