*I chose this artifact because we as teachers need to be careful what questions we ask our students and how we ask them. If we don't want the real truth, we have to be very careful how we say it. I like this activity as an opener for the year and because it gives the teacher good feedback on what the student is looking for.
*As a result, I have learned that there are many different types of questions that teachers should pose to their students; these include one word answers and more in depth, thought out answers. Sometimes we are really going to have to think about the questions that we ask and how we can get our students to give us the answers we are looking for.
*The theory aligned with this is Rogers and experiential learning because students are being asked questions that are simple/one worded to questions with more complexity. Questions with more complex answers ask them to reflect on their own learning from prior experience. We are also able to ask questions based on prior experiences.
